I took this down for a while because I entered in a competition, and my mom was all, "AHH DON'T PUT IT ONLINE YOU'LL GET DISQUALIFIED."

So, I won second place, and now it's back.

Acrylic on canvas, with some charcoal here and there. Forgive the horrible photo quality.

Nah, just honors and stuff. XD It gets to hang at the office of my Congressman. The winnar gets hung up at the Capitol, prestigious stuff.

Honestly, I didn't think so. It's just one of these contests where they go for sap, since it's hosted by our district's Congressman. So the girl who won had done something that was like "whoo Maryland pride!" It wasn't bad, I just didn't think it was particularly inspiring. But I'm happy with second. :P

Pftpft, you should try more! Once you get into traditional mediums you never go back, they're just so much fun to mess with. :3

:lol: But it's so messyyyy. At least, I've never found a way to be clean with paint. I want to get into watercolour cause that's always fun, but, yeah, need supplies...
